Maximising the Lifespan of Radio Equipment Through Preventative Maintenance
Reduce the risk of equipment failure with regular preventative maintenance to identify issues early and find solutions before the problems escalates. Preventative maintenance of your two-way radios can effectively address potential issues before they arise, ensuring the sustained reliability of your equipment.
Additionally, choosing preventative maintenance is more cost-effective than investing in new equipment. Unplanned downtime can disrupt workflow, causing valuable time to be spent on improvised solutions and troubleshooting while important communications are missed. Regular maintenance significantly enhances the likelihood of your radio equipment functioning properly for an extended period, resulting in improved communication and increased productivity among your workforce.
Regular Proactive Maintenance for Radios
Keep your radio well-maintained by cleaning it regularly, managing the battery properly and performing firmware updates. Check with your radio manufacturer to see how often batteries should be replaced. Many manufacturers recommend replacing the battery every two years to ensure peak performance.
We have three comprehensive maintenance plans for you to choose from or we can customise a plan that meets your specific requirements or regulations.
