The Motorola DP4801Ex is the full-keypad sibling of the DP4401Ex, adding a 5-line colour display and up to 1000 channel capacity to the same ATEX and IECEx certified, best-in-class-audio platform. It's built for teams working around explosive gas or combustible dust who also need on-screen text messaging, contact lists, and menu navigation, not just voice.

DP4000 Ex Series UHF radios also meet SOLAS Chapter II-2 Regulation 10.10.4 for fire-fighter radios carried on board ships, and carry the Wheel Mark and Red Ensign Mark, worth knowing for any marine or fishing fleet customer.
