Do PoC radios need a radio licence?
No. Because PoC runs over cellular networks rather than a dedicated radio frequency, there's no RSM licensing required, unlike traditional UHF/VHF radio.
Do PoC radios work outside cellular coverage?
No. PoC relies on cellular or WiFi coverage to work, so it's not a fit for teams working genuinely off-grid. UHF/VHF or a satellite solution is the better choice there.
