Entel is a specialist rugged radio brand built for environments where standard handhelds fall short: submersible DMR radios, ATEX and IECEx-certified units for hazardous atmospheres, and a deep marine VHF/UHF range including GMDSS survival radios. It's the brand MSL reaches for when a customer needs certified hazardous-area or marine-safety equipment, not just a durable radio. Mobile Systems supplies and supports Entel's full land, marine, and PoC range, with on-site setup and servicing across the Bay of Plenty, Coromandel, Rotorua, TaupΕ and Waikato.

Common Questions
What does ATEX or IECEx certification actually mean?
Both certify a radio as safe to use in atmospheres with explosive gas, dust, or vapour, such as fuel depots or chemical sites. ATEX is the EU certification scheme, IECEx is the international equivalent. Talk to us about which certification your specific site or industry requires.
What's the difference between submersible and waterproof?
Submersible radios are rated to survive full submersion in water for a set depth and time, not just splashes or rain. Entel's DT-series land radios and several marine handhelds carry submersible ratings, which matters for marine and heavy outdoor work.
