Who This Radio Is For

The DT882M is the entry-level ATEX digital handheld in Entel's marine range. It suits crews on vessels, offshore platforms and port facilities who need a basic, robust IS radio with 16 channels and no display. If your operation runs a simple channel plan and your people do not need to scroll through menus on the radio itself, this is the most cost-effective certified option in the range. For sites needing more channels or an OLED display, look at the DT885M (99 channels, display). For marine firefighting with MED approval, see the DT885FF.

Easy to use radio earset

They do what they say they do, easy to use and no extra gear. The main set is the master and needs to be used, just turn them on with charged batteries and they just work. We have tested them to about 400m but really only need them for up to about 100m max and they work really well, easy to hear everyone using them. Once they are on you just talk and listen, there are no buttons to push
We use the single ear so we can hear people not using the sets.
