Bridge Narrowband Radios and PoC Devices on One Network

Overview

The HyTalk PMR Gateway solves a problem a lot of fleets run into as they grow: your existing two-way radios can't talk to newer Push-to-Talk over Cellular devices. Rather than replacing a working fleet, the HyTalk Gateway bridges the two networks together, so narrowband and broadband users can communicate as one team.

It's a compact, self-contained unit combining a voice gateway box with an MNC360 PoC mobile radio and an HM78X or HM65X digital mobile radio, built to be carried and deployed without new ground infrastructure.

Key Features

  • Unifies narrowband and broadband users means your existing radio fleet and any PoC devices can talk to each other without buying all-new equipment.
  • Uses the public cellular network means you can connect PMR networks across regions without laying new ground infrastructure.
  • Compact, under 8kg with carry handle means one person can deploy or relocate it without special equipment.
  • Back-to-back low-latency connection means fast, near-instant response between one PMR radio and one PoC radio.

Applications

  • Industrial parks bridging old and new radio fleets
  • Public safety agencies needing narrowband/broadband interoperability
  • Transportation networks spanning multiple sites
  • Utilities needing flexible, temporary network bridging

FAQs

What does the HyTalk Gateway actually connect?
It bridges legacy narrowband two-way radios (like Hytera's HM78X or HM65X mobiles) with newer broadband PoC radios (via the MNC360), so both device types can communicate on one unified network.

Do we need to replace our existing radio fleet?
No, that's the whole point. The HyTalk Gateway is designed to bring your existing narrowband fleet onto the same network as newer PoC devices, without a full fleet replacement.

Is this suited to a permanent or temporary installation?
Both. At under 8kg with a carry handle, it's simple to deploy for temporary or mobile use, but it's equally at home as a permanent fixture at a depot or dispatch point.

Who is this suited to?
Industrial parks, public safety agencies, transportation networks, and utilities that have grown their radio fleet over time and now have a mix of narrowband and broadband devices needing to talk to one another.
