Compact Palm Microphone for Motorola XiR Mobile Radios
Overview
The Motorola PMMN4090A is a compact palm microphone for Motorola XiR M3188 and XiR M3688 mobile radios.
It plugs straight into the radio's front connector and gives you a simple push-to-talk mic in a smaller body than the standard hand mic. A good replacement when a vehicle mic is worn, damaged or just too bulky for the cab.
Note: this is a palm microphone, not a speaker mic. Receive audio still comes from the radio's own speaker.
Key Features
- Compact palm-sized body means it's easy to hold and stows neatly in utes, trucks and machinery cabs.
- Front connector plug means it's a straight swap for the existing mic on XiR M3188 and M3688 radios.
- Optimised and shielded for digital operation means clean audio on MOTOTRBO digital channels.
- Coiled cord means it reaches the driver and pulls back out of the way.
- Clip included means it hangs on the dash when it's not in use.
