The GME GX720AD VHF DSC Marine Fixed Mount Radio with AIS Receiver is a premium marine communication system designed for boat owners who want enhanced safety, greater situational awareness, and dependable VHF communications.

Whether you're cruising New Zealand's coastline, fishing offshore, or operating a commercial vessel, the GX720AD provides professional-grade communication and navigation support.

Integrated AIS Receiver for Improved Safety

One of the GX720AD's standout features is its integrated Automatic Identification System (AIS) receiver. AIS allows your radio to receive information transmitted by other AIS-equipped vessels, including vessel name, position, speed, course, heading, closest point of approach (CPA), and time to closest point of approach (TCPA). This additional situational awareness helps improve navigation and collision avoidance, particularly in busy waterways and reduced visibility.

Built-In GPS and Digital Selective Calling

The integrated GPS receiver enables full Class D DSC functionality without requiring an external GPS connection. Benefits include automatic GPS positioning, one-touch DSC distress calls, individual vessel calling, position requests, position reporting, and simplified installation.

Designed for New Zealand Boating

The GX720AD is suitable for a wide range of recreational and commercial marine applications: offshore fishing, coastal cruising, trailer boats, launches, commercial fishing vessels, charter operators, workboats, rescue vessels, yacht racing, and marina operations.

What's in the Box

Confirmed against GME's own GX710D/GX720AD instruction manual:

• Transceiver (GX720AD)
• Hand microphone (waterproof speaker microphone)
• Mounting bracket
• Microphone bracket
• DC power lead
• Mounting hardware

None of these accessories carry a confirmed model number in GME's documentation, so they can't be linked to specific MSL products at this time. Flagging rather than guessing, happy to build them out if you can source the part numbers from GME.
