Purpose-built for the underground mining industry, the ARE AV-2000 VHF Leaky Feeder Amplifier extends reliable radio coverage the full length of a tunnel or underground working, keeping crews connected where a standard signal can't reach.
The amplifier boosts signal along a leaky feeder cable run, supporting up to 16 interference-free voice or data channels with a 7MHz uplink and downlink bandwidth. Amplifiers can be spaced up to 350m apart, so coverage extends as far as the tunnel does.
