Fold-Down Antenna Mounting Bracket, Silver or Black
The GME MB042 is a genuine heavy duty stainless steel fold-down bracket that lets you lower your UHF antenna in seconds, no tools needed. It's built for anyone who needs to duck into a low car park, garage or shed without unscrewing the antenna every time. Four locking positions give you a fully upright antenna, three folded angles, or fully horizontal when you want it right out of the way. Available in natural silver stainless steel (MB042) or a black finish (MB042B), same bracket either way.

Fitting Note
GME's own instructions recommend this bracket be fitted to a dedicated bulbar antenna mounting tab rather than a general-purpose or non-permanent bracket. If you're mounting to something other than a purpose-built tab, check with us first to make sure it's a solid, permanent fixing point.

FAQs
What's the difference between the two colour options?
Nothing except finish. MB042 is natural silver stainless steel, MB042B is black. The adjustment, construction and antenna compatibility are identical either way.
Can I fit this to any bracket on my vehicle?
GME recommends fitting it to a dedicated bulbar antenna mounting tab, not a general-purpose or non-permanent bracket. Check with us if you're unsure your mounting point is suitable.
Does it come with an antenna?
No, this is the fold-down bracket only. You'll need to add a compatible GME UHF antenna, such as the AE4702 or AE4705.
How many positions does it lock into?
Four. Fully upright, two intermediate angles, and fully horizontal for tight clearances like car parks and garages.
Will it rust?
No. It's stainless steel underneath either finish, built to handle coastal weather and general road use.
What's the warranty?
