No. Like all EPIRBs, the MT605G has no ongoing costs after purchase. It operates on the international Cospas-Sarsat satellite network at no charge.

Only if fitted with GME's compatible float-free bracket. On its own, the MT605G is a manual-activation unit that you deploy by hand.
