FM Approved Remote Speaker Microphone for Motorola GP300 Series

Overview

The Motorola PMMN4021A is an FM-approved intrinsically safe remote speaker microphone for the Motorola GP300 radio family, including the GP328, GP338 and GP340.

It's a direct replacement RSM for crews still running these radios, with a 3.5mm earpiece jack, coiled cord and swivel clip.

Important: FM approval is a US standard. The PMMN4021A isn't ATEX or IECEx certified, and it's only intrinsically safe when paired with an FM-approved radio.

Will the PMMN4021A fit a GP328 Plus or GP338 Plus?
The PMMN4021A won't fit the GP328 Plus, GP338 Plus, GP344 or GP388, because those radios use a different side connector.

Is the PMMN4021A ATEX certified?
The PMMN4021A isn't ATEX or IECEx certified. It carries FM approval, a US standard, and is only intrinsically safe when used with an FM-approved radio.

Easy to use radio earset

They do what they say they do, easy to use and no extra gear. The main set is the master and needs to be used, just turn them on with charged batteries and they just work. We have tested them to about 400m but really only need them for up to about 100m max and they work really well, easy to hear everyone using them. Once they are on you just talk and listen, there are no buttons to push
We use the single ear so we can hear people not using the sets.
