Toyota Hilux 2026+ Bonnet Hinge Antenna Mount, Passenger Side
Part number: PBHMTH26. This is the passenger-side bracket for the Toyota Hilux, 2026 onwards. On NZ-new vehicles that's the left-hand side as you sit in the cab. Need the other side? See the DBHMTH26 driver-side bracket.
Overview
Want a solid antenna mount on the new Hilux without drilling a single hole? The PBHMTH26 is a 3mm stainless steel bonnet hinge bracket, custom made for MSL to suit the passenger-side bonnet hinge on the Toyota Hilux from 2026 onwards.
It fits under the factory bonnet hinge bolts and gives you a firm, low-profile platform for a UHF CB or land mobile radio antenna base. It follows the same proven approach as the GME BHM bonnet hinge range, shaped specifically for the latest Hilux.
Running two radios, such as a UHF CB and a land mobile set? Pair it with the driver-side bracket and keep each antenna on its own side of the bonnet.
Key Features
- Vehicle-specific fit for the 2026+ Hilux means the bracket lines up with the factory passenger-side hinge, for installers who want a tidy job without guesswork or modification.
- No-drill installation means no holes in the guard or bonnet, for fleet, lease and resale-conscious owners who want the bodywork left untouched.
- 3mm stainless steel construction means a rigid base that holds an antenna steady over rough gravel roads and farm tracks, for utes that work for a living.
- Natural stainless finish, no powder coat means there's no coating to chip, flake or touch up, for vehicles that spend their days in the weather.
- Standard antenna base hole means it suits common MBC-style antenna bases, for UHF CB, VHF and UHF land mobile radio antennas.
- Low-profile design that sits alongside the hinge means the antenna is mounted high on the vehicle for better coverage, for drivers who need reliable comms out of town.
- Custom made for MSL means a bracket designed around real NZ ute fitouts, backed by our install team in Mt Maunganui.
Applications
- Farm, orchard and kiwifruit utes
- Construction and contractor vehicles
- Council, utility and fleet vehicles
- Emergency services and volunteer response vehicles
- Recreational 4WD and touring
What's in the Box
- 1 x PBHMTH26 passenger-side bonnet hinge bracket, Toyota Hilux 2026 onwards
Not included: mounting bolts (the bracket reuses your vehicle's existing bonnet hinge bolts), antenna base, antenna and coaxial cable. These are sold separately.
Complete Your Setup
The bracket needs an antenna base before you can fit an antenna. These bases suit the standard mounting hole:
- RFI MBC-00-53 MBC Base, No Connector: a bare base for installers who want to terminate their own coax.
- RFI MBC-00-50F MBC Base with 0.5m RG174 Cable and FME(M): a pre-terminated base for a quicker plug-in install.
Not sure which antenna suits your radio? Browse our antennas and antenna bases, or talk to our team and we'll match the right antenna to your band and coverage needs.
Installation Guide
No dedicated installation sheet is available for this bracket. The steps below are general guidance based on standard bonnet hinge mount installs. If you're not confident, our technicians can fit it for you.
- Park on level ground, open the bonnet and make sure it's securely supported.
- Mark the position of the passenger-side hinge (a paint pen around the hinge edge works well) so the bonnet alignment can be restored.
- Remove the hinge bolts the bracket mounts under, working one bolt at a time where possible to help hold alignment.
- Position the PBHMTH26 bracket, refit the factory bolts through it and tighten to the vehicle manufacturer's torque specification.
- Fit the antenna base into the bracket and route the coax clear of the hinge, bonnet edge, sharp edges and hot engine components, entering the cabin through a suitable grommet.
- Close the bonnet slowly, checking for clearance and correct alignment before shutting it fully.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the PBHMTH26 fit earlier Toyota Hilux models?
The PBHMTH26 is made specifically for the passenger-side bonnet hinge on the Toyota Hilux from 2026 onwards. For earlier models, see our Toyota Hilux 2016 passenger-side bracket or BHLL bracket for Hilux up to 2015, and check fitment with our team if you're unsure.
Are bolts included with the PBHMTH26?
Bolts are not included with the PBHMTH26. The bracket fits under your vehicle's existing bonnet hinge bolts, so there's nothing extra to buy for mounting.
What antennas can I mount on this bonnet hinge bracket?
This bonnet hinge bracket suits antennas that fit an MBC-style base, which covers a wide range of UHF CB, VHF and UHF land mobile radio antennas. You'll need the antenna base as well, such as the RFI MBC-00-53 or MBC-00-50F.
Is the PBHMTH26 powder coated?
The PBHMTH26 is not powder coated. It's left in its natural stainless steel finish, so there's no coating to chip or wear through.
Can MSL install the bracket and antenna for me?
Yes, MSL can install the bracket, antenna and radio for you. Our technicians are based in Mt Maunganui and cover the greater Bay of Plenty, and we can point you to a partner installer elsewhere in the country.
Do I need a licence to use a radio with this antenna mount?
The bracket itself needs no licence, but the radio you connect may. UHF CB radios are licence-free in NZ, while land mobile VHF and UHF radios operate under a licence. Talk to us if you're not sure which applies to your setup.
