Tired of dropped calls and no data when you need it most?
When you’re working or travelling in low coverage areas, weak signal isn’t just frustrating it slows everything down.
The Cel-Fi ROAM R41 is built to pull in weak 4G signal and make it usable again, giving you stronger, more reliable voice and data performance across mobile and fixed setups.
🚨 IMPORTANT – NETWORK LOCKED DEVICE
This unit is NOT universal.
Each system is locked to a specific mobile network at the time of supply.
Available for:
- Spark
- 2degrees
⚠️ Must match your provider and cannot be changed after supply
What Does This Mean?
Think of this like tuning a radio to one station only.
Choose the correct network → strong, stable performance
Choose the wrong one → it simply won’t work
Built for Real-World Conditions
Designed for demanding environments where coverage is often unreliable:
✔ Vehicles – cars, utes, trucks, 4WDs
✔ Fleet & transport
✔ Marine – boats, ferries, commercial vessels
✔ Caravans & motorhomes
✔ Remote buildings and work sites
Key Features
-
Network-specific performance means
Optimised for Spark or 2degrees frequency bands, giving fleet managers consistent connectivity without guesswork -
Advanced IntelliBoost technology means
the fourth-generation chipset automatically manages signal gain and prevents interference, so tradies get a set-and-forget booster -
High output signal boosting means
clearer calls, faster data, and a stable connection for anyone dispatching jobs or checking in from the road -
Flexible installation means
the same unit suits a work ute today and a fixed site tomorrow, useful for fleets that redeploy gear between vehicles -
Built for harsh environments means
reliable performance across rural Bay of Plenty backroads, coastal routes, and remote worksites
What’s Included (Base Kit)
- Cel-Fi ROAM R41-VB Smart Mobile Repeater (B28)
- Adhesive internal antenna
- 12V cigarette lighter power supply
None of these three base-kit items are stocked as separate products in our catalogue, so there's nothing further to link here. If that changes, we'll tag them.
⚠️ Important Installation Note
An external antenna is required for proper operation.
Different kits are available depending on your application:
- Vehicle (40 cm whip antenna, or Skywave 4G-5G bullbar antenna for a permanent vehicle mount)
- Marine
- Caravan
- Building
Skywave Bullbar option: pairs the R41-VB with a Skywave 4G-5G Vehicle Bullbar Antenna (698-3800 MHz, SMA male) instead of the 40 cm whip, plus the same 12V cigarette lighter power supply. Suits a fixed bullbar or permanent mount rather than a magnetic base, a solid pick for work utes and 4WDs that live outdoors.

Quick summary if you'd rather not watch: the ROAM R41 is a compact mobile repeater that pulls in weak Spark or 2degrees 4G signal, boosts it, and re-broadcasts it inside the vehicle cabin. Fit the external antenna, plug into 12V, and it starts working within minutes with no manual tuning needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the R41-VB durable enough for daily use in a work vehicle?
Yes, the R41-VB is built for daily use in utes, trucks and 4WDs. The repeater unit itself mounts inside the cabin out of the weather; the external antenna (whip or Skywave bullbar) is the only part exposed to the elements, and both antenna options are designed for permanent outdoor vehicle mounting.
Do I need a licence to use this?
No spectrum licence is required. The R41-VB is a network-approved device supplied pre-locked to either Spark or 2degrees, so it operates within that carrier's own approved frequency bands rather than needing separate Radio Spectrum Management approval.
Does it drain the vehicle battery when the engine is off?
The unit draws power through the 12V cigarette lighter supply while the accessory circuit is live. Like any accessory left plugged in, extended use with the engine off will draw down the battery, so most fleet installs wire it through an ignition-switched circuit for daily use.
Who is this pack for?
The Skywave Bullbar option suits tradies, fleet operators and rural or coastal drivers who already run, or plan to run, a bullbar and want a permanent, weatherproof antenna mount rather than a magnetic base. If you don't have a bullbar, the standard 40 cm whip variant is the better fit.
Can I switch carriers later?
No. The R41-VB is locked to the network selected at the time of supply and cannot be reconfigured for a different carrier afterwards, so confirm whether your vehicle needs Spark or 2degrees before ordering.
