Overview
The COL43-490-P is a UHF Meander Collinear antenna covering 470-490MHz, using RFI's patented Meander PCB design that allows multiple half-wave elements to be stacked without the cable length and mechanical joint variations that typify conventional high-gain collinear construction. With dipole elements printed on a single-sided PCB, susceptibility to passive intermodulation is practically eliminated.
Placing the elements on a board removes manufacturing variations, so every antenna delivers the same pattern, tilt, and VSWR characteristics across its operating bandwidth. The antenna is internally DC grounded for lightning protection and reduction of precipitation noise.
