Overview

This helical VHF antenna is tuned for 174-193MHz and designed to suit Tait TP8000 and TP9000 series portable radios.

Tait radio antennas are available in Whip and Helical variants for each frequency band. Whip antennas are typically longer and offer greater coverage, while helical antennas are typically shorter but offer less coverage. If your radio users prioritise coverage over a compact antenna, we recommend the Whip variant. If they prioritise a compact antenna over coverage, we recommend the Helical variant.

Easy to use radio earset

They do what they say they do, easy to use and no extra gear. The main set is the master and needs to be used, just turn them on with charged batteries and they just work. We have tested them to about 400m but really only need them for up to about 100m max and they work really well, easy to hear everyone using them. Once they are on you just talk and listen, there are no buttons to push
We use the single ear so we can hear people not using the sets.
