Teltonika FMC130 Advanced 4G LTE GPS Vehicle Tracker
Real-time vehicle tracking with fallback to 3G, built for integration with the Logic Connect fleet platform.
Recommended Configuration
The FMC130 is supplied as standard for Logic Connect fleet installs, wired into the vehicle's ignition and power supply. This is the configuration MSL fits for most transport, construction and industrial fleets.
Overview
The Teltonika FMC130 is a compact 4G LTE Cat 1 tracking terminal with automatic fallback to 3G where LTE coverage is patchy, a common issue on rural Bay of Plenty routes and back-country worksites. It collects GNSS location data and sends it over the cellular network to the Logic Connect platform, giving fleet managers live visibility of vehicle location, movement and ignition status. A built-in movement sensor, virtual odometer and jamming detection add extra layers of visibility beyond a basic location pin.
Key Features
- 4G LTE Cat 1 with 3G fallback means reliable reporting for fleet managers even when a vehicle moves through patchy coverage.
- Built-in movement sensor and virtual odometer means accurate trip and usage data for transport and construction fleets without extra hardware.
- Flexible digital, analogue and impulse inputs means fitters can wire in ignition sensing, fuel level or door sensors to suit the vehicle.
- Bluetooth 4.0 LE connectivity means the tracker can pair with compatible Bluetooth sensors and beacons on the vehicle.
- Backup battery with power-loss alert means fleet managers are notified if a tracker is disconnected or tampered with.
- 128MB onboard memory means trip data keeps recording and queues for upload even in a coverage black spot, then sends once signal is back.
- Compact, low-profile housing means it fits behind the dash or under a seat without getting in the driver's way.
Applications
- Transport and logistics fleet tracking
- Construction plant and light vehicle tracking
- Industrial and manufacturing company vehicle fleets
- Fuel and driver behaviour monitoring via Logic Connect

FAQs
Does the FMC130 need a radio licence to operate?
No. The FMC130 communicates over the cellular network rather than radio spectrum, so it doesn't need a radio licence. It does need an active data SIM and a Logic Connect subscription to report location.
Is the FMC130 waterproof?
Not fully. It carries an IP41 rating, which protects against dust ingress and light dripping moisture, so it's built for a dry, protected mounting point such as behind the dash, not for direct exposure to rain or wash-down.
How long does the backup battery last?
The FMC130 runs off the vehicle's own 10-30V power supply. Its small 170mAh backup battery isn't a primary power source: it's there to keep the tracker reporting briefly and flag a power-loss alert if the unit is disconnected or the vehicle battery is removed.
Who is the FMC130 suited to?
Fleet managers in transport, construction and industrial operations who need reliable vehicle location, ignition status and trip data through the Logic Connect platform, particularly where routes cross patchy rural coverage.
Does it work with Logic Connect?
Yes. The FMC130 is one of MSL's standard hardware options for the Logic Connect fleet management platform, reporting location and vehicle data directly into the same dashboard used for MSL's other tracked assets.
