Long-Range Radar Obstacle Detection for Heavy Duty Vehicles
The Viewtech VTODS-MC is a heavy duty radar kit for large vehicles and machinery that need a longer detection zone. Using 24 GHz FMCW radar, it detects stationary and moving objects and people in the blind spot behind the vehicle and alerts the operator in the cab, helping reduce the risk of reversing incidents.
Radar keeps working in dust, rain, fog and darkness, where cameras alone can struggle, making it well suited to mining, quarrying, construction, waste and heavy transport.
