4m Radar Obstacle Detection with In-Cab Display
The Viewtech VTODSL is a heavy duty radar obstacle detection kit for reversing safety on trucks, forklifts and machinery. It includes a 4 m radar sensor, a compact in-cab display module for clear visual alerts, and a 20 m extension cable for flexible installation.
The on-board processor calculates the distance and direction of obstacles across three alert zones. The system is armed by a trigger such as the reversing light, and only alarms while the distance to an object is closing. If the object moves away, the alarm stops straight away, which helps reduce alarm fatigue and false alarms.
