Heavy Duty Reversing and Blind Spot Camera
IP69K washdown rated, built-in heater, day/night lens, infrared night vision and audio.
Our pick: the AHD 1080p version if you are pairing it with a Viewtech HD monitor. Choose the standard version for older analogue monitors, or the 24V version for trucks and plant running a 24V heater circuit.
Overview
The Viewtech VT639HD is a heavy-built reversing and blind spot camera for trucks, buses, plant and machinery. It is tested to IP69K, so it handles high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns, and its built-in heater switches on below 10°C to keep the lens clear on frosty mornings.
A true day/night lens filters out infrared in daylight for accurate colour, then switches to infrared for clear night vision. It connects with Viewtech's EzyConnect 4-pin plug, the same connector Viewtech has used for years, so swap-outs bolt straight back in.
Key Features
- IP69K rating means the camera can be pressure washed, which matters for stock trucks, rubbish trucks and anything that sees a wash bay.
- Built-in automatic heater means the lens stays clear in freezing conditions, so early starts don't start blind.
- True day/night lens means accurate colour by day and clear infrared images at night for operators working around the clock.
- Smart infrared night vision means a usable picture behind the vehicle in pitch black yards and rural roads.
- Sensitive audio pickup means drivers can hear spotters and reversing alarms behind the vehicle.
- Mirror/normal selector means one camera works as a reversing camera or a forward-facing blind spot camera.
- EzyConnect 4-pin waterproof connector means a sealed, vibration-resistant connection for fleet installs.

For a polished install, ask us about the Viewtech VT639-BR stainless steel bracket and visor. The AHD 720p and 1080p versions need an AHD-compatible monitor such as the Viewtech 7 inch HD monitor.

FAQs
Is the Viewtech VT639HD waterproof?
Yes, the VT639HD is IP69K rated, so it can be pressure washed with hot water without damage.
Will the VT639HD work with my existing monitor?
The standard VT639HD and VT639HD-24 use analogue CVBS video, which works with Viewtech monitors and most older monitors. The 720p and 1080p AHD versions need an AHD-compatible monitor.

The VT639HD-24 is built with a 24V heater circuit for trucks and plant. Check your monitor's camera supply voltage with us if you are unsure.
Can MSL install it?
