Yapalong-6000 Radio, Base Unit

FIFA-inspected Bluetooth full-duplex radio for referees, officials, and coaching teams.

Overview

The Yapalong-6000 is a full-duplex radio that pairs with a Bluetooth headset, the next generation beyond the popular Yapalong-4000 and 5000 series. It uses patented anti-interference technology and built-in noise cancellation, and toggles between open-mic (OM) and push-to-talk (PTT) modes to suit how your team works.

This is the base unit, the AM (900MHz) model built for New Zealand, the Americas, Australia, and the UK. It's not compatible with the Yapalong-4000 or 5000 series, or with the European 6000CE variant.

Key Features

  • Bluetooth headset pairing means no wires tying you down on the sideline or pitch.
  • Anti-interference technology means clear communication even in crowded environments with lots of other wireless devices nearby.
  • Open-mic or PTT toggle means each unit can switch modes to suit how your team operates.
  • Peer-to-peer network means no base station or master unit, so the group keeps talking even if one unit drops out.
  • Group size up to 7 open-mic units, or 5 open-mic plus unlimited PTT units, means enough capacity for most refereeing and coaching teams.
  • Up to 1,200 metres line-of-sight range means reliable coverage across large fields and stadiums.
  • IP65 water resistance means dependable performance in all weather.
  • 8+ hours talk time means it lasts the length of a full match day.

Applications

  • Referees and match officials
  • Sports coaching and team staff
  • Security and event teams needing hands-free comms

Do I need a licence to use this in New Zealand?
