Overview
The GME AE4012K2 is a genuine elevated-feed UHF CB antenna kit, built for demanding mobile environments across rural, agricultural, commercial and remote NZ. At 6.6dBi gain with an 860mm stainless steel whip, it lifts the radiating element above obstructions like roofs, canopies, or bull bars for a stronger, more reliable signal.
It uses a ground independent design, so it mounts on virtually any surface, and the whip can be swapped for a lower-gain option if you need a broader radiation pattern in hilly or built-up terrain. Note: GME does not recommend mounting the AE4012 on the bullbar of diesel vehicles.

What's the difference between this and the AE4012K1?
The K2 uses a light duty stainless spring and an FME-terminated ABL002F base at 860mm. The K1 is 780mm, connects directly via PL259, and doesn't include a separate spring.
Can I mount this on my bull bar?
Yes, except GME advises against mounting on the bullbar of diesel vehicles. Check with our team if you're unsure about your vehicle.
Does this include a mounting bracket?
No, the box is whip, base and lead, spring, and adaptor only.
