The 5000 series is the evolution of the original 4000, built with improved range, audio quality and obstruction handling, plus a redesigned internal antenna giving genuine waterproofing. The 6000 series goes a step further with Bluetooth headset connectivity, though it is worth being direct that it is not compatible with either the 4000 or 5000 systems, so a mixed fleet needs planning around that.
